Oh wait.. I don’t have one. This year, instead of freaking out about being single on Val’s Day (is that I thing? It is now) or going to one of those single people’s pity parties, I have decided to try a new recipe: Almond Butter Cookies. And-yes, they’re shaped like hearts. I know- too fucking cute. Oo! They’re ready 🙂 🙂
… AND THEY’RE AMAZING!!! Roomie approves 🙂
For those of you who are curious they are made with refrigerated almond butter, 1 egg, brown sugar and baking soda. -I know right? So simple and gluten free!
On a more serious note- I would like to take a moment to share what Val’s Day means to me. It’s a day to appreciate and share love. Yes, it is nice to have a significant other to share with, but it is important not to forget our other loved ones. Family and friend are just as- if not more- important.
SO, to all you single folks out there crying about not having a Valentine (and I say this with love): Suck it up and stop being selfish because there’s a brother, sister, mother, father, cousin, friend, grandma, grandpa, whoever out there who could use some love and would be happy to return the favor.
